Ayelet Zurer

Ayelet Zurer is one of Israel's most highly regarded actresses. She was born in Tel Aviv and was first discovered by Hollywood when Steven Spielberg cast her in her first English-speaking film role as Eric Bana's wife in Munich (2005). Zurer is an American actress who has appeared in Studio films, including Sony Pictures' Vantage Point featuring Dennis Quaid (with William Hurt) Samuel Goldwyn's Fugitive pieces, which starred Stephen Dillane, Paul Schrader’s Adam Resurrected in the film with Jeff Goldblum and Willem Dafoe. Ron Howard's Angeles and Demons, opposite Tom Hanks, Darling Companion, an ensemble Lawrence Kasdan casting that features Diane Keaton, Kevin Kline and Warner Bros. Man Of Steel in the role of Russell Crow. Ewan McGregor was her filming partner in Rodrigo Garcia's Last Days in Desert. Zurer was awarded the Israeli Television Academy Award, for her role in "In Treatment" which was a highly well-reviewed series of television that was adapted to American TV by HBO. 2014 saw her being nominated for an apposite for the best drama of the year "Shtisel". Zurer was also awarded the best actress award in drama for her role as an amazing surgeon facing a life or death dilemma in Hostages. This show was telecast to BBC4 and Canal Plus as well as the American ABC. Golbary the most well-known Israeli women's clothing company is her "face". She is a writer, producer and illustrator. She's also co-author of "Shorts", the first book written for adults written by Gabi Nitazn. Ayelet has been working on number of her own projects in Israel as well as the US and has expressed an desire to collaborate internationally with directors from across the globe, believing in joining unknown directors and writers as well as established ones.
