Robin Gayle
Robin Gayle Wright was born to Gayle
(Gaston) she was a national Director at Mary Kay and Freddie Wright. Her home
was San Diego, California. She started her professional career when she was 14
working as a model. She worked in Paris, Japan and Paris. After high school,
she made the choice to become an actor. She was offered a part on the soap show
Santa Barbara (1984), for which she was nominated three times for an Daytime
Emmy. She fell in love with Dane Witherspoon during the first season. They got
married in the year 1986. In 1987, she was the role of the title character in
The Princess Bride. She was cast as Santa Barbara but left to be a part of
Denial (1990) alongside Jason Patric. She met Sean Penn in 1990 while she was
appearing in State of Grace (1990). They had one daughter Dylan Frances with
him and one son who was named Hopper Jack. After a short break, Robin was back
to Hollywood and landed one of her most memorable roles of her career. She was
Tara in The Playboys (1992). She was an amazing actress , and a phenomenal
actor. She starred in Toys (1992) the film that was a comedy with Robin
Williams. It was an extremely funny performance. Wright played the role of
Jenny in 1994's blockbuster smash Forrest Gump (1994) with Tom Hanks. Wright received
a nomination for the Golden Globe Award in recognition of her performance in
the film as Jenny. She was given a minor role in The Crossing Guard (1995) in
which she starred Jack Nicholson. After a string of rejections, she finally got
the lead role in MGM/UA's Moll Flanders (1996). Pen Densham directed her and
Stockard Channing played the role. Together with William Hurt, she was then
featured in Erin Dignam’s Loved (1997).
